Jakrapanth Thomma (born in 1988) was the solider of the Royal Thai Army and the Perpetrator of Nakhon Ratchasima shooting. He is in the headlines today because he killed more than 25 people, only to fulfill his meaning.
The culprit fired in Buddhist temple and Korat Shopping Mall in Nakhon Ratchasima at around 15:30 on Saturday, February 8, 2020, and killed more than 25 people.

On 8 February 2020, he stationed at the base of Surathamphithak Military Camp with the commander and two other soldiers. He suddenly attacked the commander officer and killed him and also killed the other soldiers.

He knew that there was a huge crowd in the Terminal 21 Korat’s Shopping mall due to Magha Puja, and he went straight to the mall by stealing the Type 11 assault rifles, M60 machine gun, and military van. A police officer and two civilians tried to stop him in the way but he killed them too and reached the mall.

He opened fire on a gas cylinder lying on it, causing it to burst and explode, killing 12 people. Jakrapanth Thomma was simultaneously recording all this and putting live videos of it on Facebook and Twitter.

Police say that such a fierce firing has also happened for the first time in Thailand from just one person. In this incident, 30 people lost their lives, including criminals and more than 58 people were injured.
