In fact, she had known for her beauty. However, 13 men had committed suicide she had rejected them for marriage.

How old was Princess Qajar? She was born in the year 1883. Then, she died on January 25, 1936. Therefore, her age is around fifty-three, (53) years old in 1936. Qajar was the daughter of King Naser al-din Shah (father) and Queen Turan es-Saltaneh (mother).

In addition to this, she had around twelve siblings. After her death, she had buried in the Zahir od-Dowleh Cemetery in Tajrish.

Qajar was a poet and woman rights activist.Furthermore, she was the founder of Anjoman Horriyyat Nsevan, the society working for women rights.Even, she had hosted literary salons once a week at her house.Her writing had included as a subject in Middle Eastern Studies in Universities of Tehran and Harvard.

Princess got married to Aamir Hussein Khan Shoja’-al Saltaneh.The couple had four children (two girls and two boys).However, she had divorced Aamir; she had a relationship with Aref Qazvini (Persian Poet).Aref had written poem for her “Ey Taj”.

 

Qajar belonged to the richest dynasties of Persia the Qajar dynasty. Qajar’s ruling period also known as the golden period for Persia. In fact, she was famous as mustache queen.
