On July 16, 2020, she left her house located in the Akyaka neighborhood of the Ula town[1]MSN. She lived there alone. After leaving her house, she planned to go to her mom-dad house. She informed them too. They waited for a long time for her.

Then, her mom Şefika Gültekin and sister Sibel Gültekin visited Muğla. Both of them filed a complaint at the Akyaka Gendarmerie General Command. Furthermore, they used the social networking online platform to seek the clue of their missing daughter/Sister.

While interrogating, the people associated with her, the police found the details of her ex-boyfriend named Cemal Metin Avcı. Additionally, Cemal visited the police for the testimony and accepted that he committed the murder of his girlfriend. From July 16-July 21, 2020, he met Pinal to re-establish his relationship with her.

However, his former partner refused to do so. He had beaten her out of anger and left her unconscious. In his further testimonies, he accepted that he brought the gasoline from the gas station to burn the dead body and removed the shreds of evidence. Police declared him as the main accuser in the disappearance and murder case.

 

 

Sıddık Gültekin is the name of her father and her mother is Şefika Gültekin. The name of her brother is Vedat Gültekin and his sister is Sibel Gültekin. She went to study economics at the Muğla University School of Economics.

 

While studying in the university, she stayed in the Ula town. Over there, she met a bartender Cemal Metin Avcı. Pinar Gultekin dated with him for a short span and then broke up due to unknown reasons. She knew the truth that her former boyfriend had a wife and two children. Still, Cemal wanted to restart his relationship with her.

He met her on multiple locations to talk to her and sort all the issues. However, Gultekin refused to start dating again with him. Out of aggression and anger, Cemal had beaten him violently and killed her.

He burned her body in a rural forest area and put some concrete on the body too. Police solved the murder mystery and arrested him as the accused in the case. Avcı kept in the prison for further investigation in the case.

Along with the police, he followed up the case investigation too. He wants that the culprit should get the heaviest punishment for the crime he committed.The Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor Office published a written statement on the Pinar Gultekin case investigation.
