Being a zonal director of NCB, he is considered an expert in matters related to drugs. Within the last two years, under the leadership of Sameer Wankhede, the drug and drugs racket worth about 17 thousand crores was exposed. In September 2020, Sameer Wankhede has been transferred from DRI to Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai.

As per the media reports, NCB officials including Sameer Wankhede were attacked by some drug vendors during an anti-drug raid on Sunday, 22 November 2020 in Mumbai. In an articulation, Sameer, zonal Director Mumbai NCB said that:-

Sameer Wankhede was born to his parents between the years 1984-1988 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. According to Wikipedia, he belongs to the Maratha caste. As of 2020, Sameer Wankhede’s age is 32-36 years old.

After completing his education from a local private school, he began focusing on the IRS examination. Due to his talent, he cleared the examination and become an IRS officer. At present, he serves the position of a zonal director of NCB and also works as Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.

 

 

NCB’s zonal director currently lives in Mumbai along with his family. According to the media reports, Sameer Wankhede got married to his wife “Kranti Redkar” on March 29, 2017, in a private wedding ceremony. Let me tell you that, Kranti is a famous Indian actress and television personality. She worked in lots of Hindi and Marathi movies.

As per Wikipedia, she debuts in the film industry with the Marathi movie “Soon Asavi Ashi” in the year 2000. As per the social media sources, Sameer and Redkar are the parents of two twin daughters named “Ziya” and “Zyda”.
